iPhone setup

1. Add the ShortcutInstall YapTap Dictate

   Download Yaptap Dictate

   

   Scan with your iPhone

   Run it once from Shortcuts. Allow microphone access and the connection to YapTap when prompted.

2. Enable Double Tap

   Settings › Accessibility › Touch
   Back Tap › Double TapChoose YapTap Dictate under Shortcuts.

   You can choose Triple Tap if Double Tap is already assigned.

3. Record, then paste

   Double-tap the back of your unlocked iPhone to record
   Tap the screen to finish recording
   The transcribed text is copied into clipboard, ready to paste

   Double-tap the back of your unlocked iPhone and speak. Tap the screen to finish recording.

   Your text is copied when transcription finishes. Return to your app, touch and hold the text field, then choose Paste.
